Project description
The project was structured in two main phases aimed at supporting the development of the Cantabrian Bioeconomy and Circular Economy Strategy (EcBEC) through a comprehensive diagnostic and the design of a monitoring and evaluation framework.
The first phase focused on the collection and analysis of existing information. This included the compilation of studies, datasets and relevant documentation required for the preparation of the EcBEC, as well as the development of a diagnosis of the existing situation to identify key challenges, opportunities and strategic priorities.
The second phase focused on the design of the strategy’s monitoring framework and methodology. The main activities included the definition of strategic axes of action, the development of the economic and temporal programming of the strategy, and the design of indicators to measure progress and results. In addition, the project developed a proposal for the evaluation and monitoring system of the strategy and prepared a draft version of the strategy document.
