Analysis of expenditure on environmental protection by the Basque Public Administration in the period 2015-2017

The aim of this project was to analyse expenditure on environmental protection by the Basque public administration in the period 2015-2017, broken down by territories (Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa) and levels of government (Basque government, provincial councils, town councils, etc.).

To this end, Metroeconomica carried out the following tasks: (i) definition of the concepts to be included in the analysis, (ii) analysis of the executed budget of public institutions at different levels (regional, sub-regional and municipal) in the period 2015-2017, (iii) identification and analysis of the green budget by sector and economic activity programmes and (iv) communicative presentation of the results and conclusions.
