Lander Garikoitz Román

Bachelor in Industrial Technologies Engineering from the National University of Distance Education (UNED). Master in Economics (impact assessment methodologies) from the University of Barcelona, doing part if his studies at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark).

Lander has worked as a Research Assistant at the Chair of Energy Sustainability at the Barcelona Institute of Economics, where he has participated in different academic projects on energy transition. He has also participated in projects in the field of political economy for the Barcelona Institute of Economics, and has collaborated with the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in the area of organizational behavior.

Experience in international organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where he has participated in the development of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) agendas for the cities of La Paz and Sucre (Bolivia).

Mother tongue, Spanish. Lander is also fluent in English.
